System Tools Installer is a new application that allows you to painlessly and easily install the Microsoft Sysinternals suite of utilities for the Windows platform. The sysinternals suite is a fantastic tool to debug or analyse windows, find processes, detect network settings, and a host of other incredibly useful application that Microsoft has kindly offered for free on their site.
However, Microsoft has not provided installers for this suite, which means you have to download each tool, unzip it, and then manually create shortcuts and links. Well, with System Tools Installer, this entire process it now automated. Once you click on a tool to download, System Tools Installer will take over and manually extract the downloaded files and install them on your system. You will get access to them in the Start Menu, including their help files. You will also be able to simply type their name, like “dependency walker” to run them. Yes, life can be that simple.
But that’s not all. System Tools Installer also supports Nirsoft and Joeware tools. These tools are fantastic for managing your windows machine and performing a wide variety of tasks and they can be installed with the same ease as sysinternals.
Should you ever wish to uninstall System Tools Installer, simply go to the control panel in Windows and remove it.
